I know I've said this before but I really think that when it comes to cards and some guys, less really is more! Ha! I know....it depends on the guy, but I think for a lot of them, they really don't care so much about the 'fluff' that we like to incorporate on our cards! So.....in keeping with that thought, here are a couple of really simple guy cards for today! What do you think?
Also thought I'd recommend a few books for you. These are books that I read while on vacation......Ahhh....I love a good book! And all 3 of these turned out to be really fun, light-hearted reads! Perfect vacation/summertime books! Enjoy!
The Guy I'm Not Dating by Trish Perry -- A very fun read and there's a sequel out already, in case you like this one! Speaking of which....I need to get the second one! Hee!
Your Chariot Awaits by Lorena McCourtney -- OK, so the fact of the matter is that I DO judge a book by it's cover!! LOL!! And in all honesty, this cover didn't jump out and grab me at all, however I've read some of Lorena McCourtney's books before and enjoyed them so I went ahead and gave this a try. It had a dash of romance, murder, mystery & intrigue and some humor besides! I enjoyed it and I'm glad that I didn't let the cover deter me from getting it! Haha!
The Potluck Club Takes the Cake by Linda Evans Shepherd & Eva Marie Everson -- This is actually the 3rd book in the Potluck Club series and while the first one started out a bit slow for me, I came to really enjoy these stories about a group of women and all that they shared and went thru together over the years. I'm also happy to report that the series continues sort of, with the start of a spin-off series called the Potluck Catering Club. Book 1 is scheduled to be released in Sept. of this year. It's called The Secret's in the Sauce. Can't wait for it's release!!

Oh....one last book tip for you! My sweet friend Tiff let me know yesterday that the latest 'Sisterchicks' book is out now! I will be ordering this PRONTO! I LOVE the Sisterchicks books -- HIGHLY recommend them! They're so fun and each book has a story about a couple of girls that go on a trip to some foreign country together, for one reason or another. They're sooo funny and heart-warming and oh.......they're just great! If you haven't read any, you should pick one up. They'll just make ya feel good! I love 'em! Here's a picture of the newest one and just FYI, the stories aren't connected to one another so you can read these books in any order!
