Kristina's Color Inspo. #15
Hey Crew....time for another Color Inspiration Challenge from Kristina! AND, I took this opportunity to use some more American Crafts Thickers -- this time, some glittery chipboard Thickers!! You may not be able to see it in the picture but IRL, they are sparkly-sparkly! Aren't they FUN??? Darn, I love those crazy things! :)
Ok, so just in case you're wondering about the ribbon, I took my mono-adhesive and just ran it along the back side of the ribbon and then layed it out on the card, accordion style. The adhesive makes it stick wherever you want it and I just left the 'ruffles' sticking out this time. I kinda like 'em that way! Heehee! There's a close-up photo below in case you need a little more visual. Keep in mind that the object of this type of ruffle isn't to have it completely straight. :)
ALSO..........here's a little sneaky peek for you! See the scalloped edge??? I punched that with Stampin' Up!'s new Scallop Edge Punch!!! How cool is that?! So fast and easy! No more using my corner rounder punch to punch each scallop one at a time! Hahaha! So.....these are coming out in Aug. with the release of the new Idea Book & Catalog!
