Hi Crew....here's a little card for Kristina's color inspiration challenge this week. Bravo Burgundy -- wow, there's a color I don't use every day.......or any day! Haha! I guess that's what's so great about these color challenges, huh? They make you get out of your little comfort zone. :) Thanks Kristina! Great photo from PB Kids!
Ok, now I feel that I must clear up a small matter with you. I fear that I may have inadvertantly lead you to believe that I actually have a clue about the game of football, with all my talk the other day of Kansas State University and Wildcat pride and purple sports apparel. Rest assured though, my dear sweet blog readers, that I have extremely minimal knowledge of how the game actually works! I do much better when I GO to a game (rather than watch it on tv) because it's easy to cheer when 50,000 people around you cheer. And it doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out that you shout 'first down' and do the arm motion every time the announcer says that we got so many "yards good for a Wildcat FIRST DOWN."
I just wanted you to know that when my husband says this to me:
"When it's first and ten, you have four downs to make 10 yards. When it's first and goal, you're inside the 10 yard line and since you have less than 10 yards to go the goal line is the goal instead of ten yards."
What I really hear is this:
"Wah wah wah, wah wah wahwah, wah. Wah wah wah wah.......wah wah. Wah wah wahwahwah. Wah Wah. Wah wah wah wah wah wah wah, wah wah - wah. Wah. Wah. Wah wah." (Imagine Charlie Brown's teacher here)
It's not that I am not smart enough to understand. It's just that there are so many other deliciously fun and exciting things I'd rather fill up my brain with......like stamping and paper colors and fun embellies and paper-crafting magazines! You get the picture? This is why I have just enough football knowledge to get by, but why I take many opportunities to work play in the studio while Bart is downstairs watching football! (But I'll be sportin' my new team apparel to show my heartfelt support!)
Well, I feel much better now that we've cleared up this matter. I like to keep the information accurate around here. I hope you feel better too! Hahaha!!
Have a great night, Peeps!
