HI All! Happy (rainy) Thursday to you!
Today as I was sweatin' to the oldies on the treadmill, my mind was awhirl. Awhirl? Anyway, I was thinking about how funny it is - this paper crafting industry that I love so much. My to-do list includes Christmas design team projects, spring & summer magazine projects and here we are, right smack dab in the middle of fall :) Just last month, I was working on some Halloween projects and we were at Target so I wanted to grab some Halloween candy for my projects while we were there. I couldn't find the Halloween candy section and was so bewildered as to where it could be. I told Bart it was so weird because they usually have a whole huge section and it's usually RIGHT THERE. Know what he said to me? "Um, it's AUGUST! They don't have Halloween candy yet!" Oh yeah. Forgot. :)
So obviously I can't share some of what I've been working on with you just yet but I have to tell you that I'm so excited the upcoming release at Papertrey! Have you been watching Nichole's blog for sneaky peeks of the new stamp sets and products coming out this weekend? Ahhh....can't wait for you to see everything including all of the goodies that the design team has been cookin' up for you!
So for today, I squeezed in a fun little card that didn't have anything to do with any to-do list or assignment. This little gem was made just for the pure fun of it. If you haven't created something lately just for the fun of it, you should give it a try. You'll love it! Something that doesn't have to go in an envelope the second you're done with it so you can ship it off to it's recipient. Something that isn't being made so that you can check off an item on your to-do list. Something that's made for the sheer joy of it. Something that just makes you happy to look at it! That's what this card is for me! I hope it makes you happy too!
