Hi All! Happy THURSDAY to you....seriously, where did the week go?! You know I'm not complaining though.......I loooooove the weekends! This one's almost here! :)
So first up is the card I made for this week's challenge. I used a couple of fun tea cup & tea bag images from Papertrey's anniversary set -- Everyday Classics. The sentiment is from the Mega Mixed Messages set.....seriously, such a versatile set full of useful sentiments. I just love it.
As for that fun glitter stripe, I used my Two-Way Glue Pen (from Stampin' Up!) and literally just drew a line of glue using the edge of the card stock as my guide, and then I sprinkled on some Martha Stewart glitter in Smoky Quartz. Easy peasy!
I know that in these challenges, "5 whole colors" feels like a lot to some of you but I just have to say again this week that I'm SO proud of those of you that gave it a try! I think when you look at the cards in this week's Spotlight, you'll see that it really CAN be done....you really CAN use that many colors on a card and it can look great! One reason is because the vanilla and the kraft are neutrals. They help to balance out all of the other colors. Some of you were seriously so creative this week. This is really a ton of fun seeing what you all come up with for each challenge!
