Hello, friends.....
Just thought I'd pop in and share a few quickie photos from last night's wedding rehearsal and rehearsal dinner.
This is the bride-to-be and her mama.....also known as my niece and my sister-in-law. Oh, how I love these girls.
In fact, I'm sitting here waiting for the two of them to get here so I can do Raegen's make-up for the wedding and honestly, I'm feeling a little emotional thinking about how grown up Raegen is now, compared to the girl she was when I first came into the family years ago. I have loved being Raegen's aunt, but I've also loved becoming her friend over the years. And today, the sweet girl is going to get married and will be moving away from here. She's becoming an Air Force wife today -- in about 6 hours, actually (!) -- and I'm so, so proud of her.
This is the historic barn she's chosen to get married in. Last night was the first time I'd seen it in person and I fell in love with it's charm. So many great details, my favorite among them are these huge arched doors. There are 3 of them, to be exact. One each on 3 of the 4 barn walls.
This is a look at the rehearsal in progress last night. There will be LOTS more chairs in the barn today for the big event. Isn't it so pretty though?
Love the windows and the stone walls and all of the old, old wood.
The happy couple at the rehearsal dinner. Adorable, right? I know I'm not just biased here! ;)
I'd better scoot since the bride and her mama should be here soon. She's getting her hair done this morning and then our house is stop number 2 on her agenda, so I can do her make-up. I'm so, so, so honored to be a part of this sweet girl's wedding day.
{Love you, Raegen Girly.}
As for you, my dear readers, I hope you're all having a wonderful weekend. Pray for the rain to hold off for us tonight, as part of the festivities are to take place outside. :)
Talk with you all soon,
