Hi-ya! So today, the Papertrey Anniversary festivities all center around favorite Papertrey color combos. Nichole asked the Design Team members to share a project using our all-time favorite Papertrey color combo. Now for me -- the lover of COLOR -- choosing one "all-time fave" is pretty tough, so instead, we'll just call this my "favorite color combo of the week"! Ha.
I piled on lots of colorful layers on this little ditty. The card base is rustic cream card stock. Then, I cut a panel of kraft card stock and began piling on the layers. Starting at the top is a bit of Sweet Symphony patterned paper followed by a strip of pure poppy card stock. Below that is some 2008 Bitty Dot Basics patterned paper and then a strip of hawaiian shores card stock, die cut with the small scalloped border die. Next comes the In Bloom patterned paper in raspberry fizz and lastly, another little strip of hawaiian shores card stock.
Then, just above the hawaiian shores strip, I added a bit of pure poppy card stock, die cut with the double-ended banner die. For the focal point, I die cut a few pieces of card stock with the limitless layers: 1.75" circle dies and stamped the cream layer with a pretty leaf image from Turning a New Leaf and the "hello" sentiment from Mat Stack 3 Collection.
