Football Day with Dad!

My dad and I got to go to the K-State vs. Baylor game in Manhattan yesterday! We had so much fun...we road tripped there (it's a couple hours from home) so it was an all day adventure! I have 4 younger siblings so I can't remember the last time I had my dad all to myself for 9 hours!! LOL!! Here are just a few pics from our big football outting.

As you can see in this next one, I obviously need longer arms!! Hahaha!! I held the camera out in front of us and took this picture! I'm sure you can also tell just by looking that we were laughing so much, trying to get this shot!! Dad was such a good sport. I took 4 pics like this one before I gave up! This was the best I could do. Perhaps next time I should just ask someone to take it for us! Heehee!! Nah.....that wouldn't have been as much fun!! ;)

Those years of struggle were so hard, but I wouldn't trade them because I can see how He was with us every step of the way and how He was using every bit of it for our good and His glory. My hope now, is that I can encourage you to choose joy in the midst of your own struggles. While you're here, I hope you laugh or smile or find some inspiration and encouragement. I hope you enjoy your time with me and ultimately, I hope you see some of HIM while you're here. He is everything. Much love, friends…
