I was out recently with my friend for a little Christmas girl time. I thought I'd share a few pictures with you! Have you ever eaten at Buca di Beppo -- YUMMO! Can you believe how big those meatballs are?? (And just so you know, we both ate and I still had 2 meals leftover from that one plate!)
We went to the Plaza, which is absolutely beautiful this time of year because it is lit with thousands of Christmas lights! I love the Plaza at Christmas time....the air is crisp {read: COLD}, the lights are shining brightly, there is a definite 'hustle and bustle' in the air as shoppers rush around finishing their shopping, Starbucks is overflowing with customers sitting around the cozy fire drinking their lattes and cocoas, there are some just out for a stroll around the Plaza, there are so many fantastic restaurants that delicious food smells abound and Christmas is definitely in the air! I never get tired of the Plaza at Christmas time. Even when I was a kid, I remember most years on Christmas night, after we'd leave my Grandma's house, Dad would take us to the Plaza and drive up and down the streets a few times so we could see the lights before heading home. Such great memories.
