I was so inspired by Erica Putnam's cards that I decided to make my sweet friend, Amy, a card along those same lines. Sometimes I just love a very simple white card. This one has some fun dimension to it with the scalloped circle and the glittered chipboard 'A' but I think it's nice to make cards once in awhile that have a plain white base. We don't always have to 'fill all the white space!!'
Also, just a tip: When I use white for my card base, I always use Papertrey's Stamper's Select White Cardstock because instead of the 80lb weight of SU!'s cardstock, Papertrey's is 110lb weight which makes for a much sturdier card.
I don't know if you can tell in the picture....the glitter looks a little silvery, but that is the blue glitter from the new Stampin' Glitter-Fine Cosmo assortment. I put it on the chipboard using the new Tombow Multi-Purpose Adhesive. I didn't use any ink to color the chipboard before applying the glitter. You could use ink under the glitter for a more vibrant color. I think this turned out perfect for layering on the Soft Sky circle.
Amy, have you checked your mail yet??? :)
