Hi All.....I have a couple fun polka dotted cards for you today! Can you tell that I'm in a 'basic gray mood' these days?! :) Don't worry, I'm sure it's just a phase! LOL!
Basic gray goes so well with pink passion - such a fun color combo! I'm also a huge fan of this layout as well as this stamp from the True Friend set....don't you just love that font?!
{True Friend Ingredients}
Paper: pink passion, basic gray, very vanilla, DS-Charbon
Stamps: true friend
Ink: pink passion, basic gray
Accessories: blender pen, basic gray taffeta ribbon
Another fun little polka dot card! I was totally inspired by Geny Cassady's polka dotted card seen at the bottom of this post where she stamped the dots one at a time using the single dot stamp from Papertrey's new Polka Dot Basics set. Genius! Just think -- you can have polka dotted paper in any color combo and pattern you'd like! How fun is that?! Thanks for the inspiration, Geny!! Since my Papertrey goodies are on their way to me as we speak, I don't yet have my PDB set so instead, I decided to use the dot stamp from my SU! Little Pieces set.
Also, I have to say that Orchid Opulance is a color that I don't often reach for but it really is a pretty color that works so well with basic gray! Give it a try!
{Happy Birthday Ingredients}
Paper: basic gray, orchid opulance, very vanilla
Stamps: little pieces, Papertrey B&C Monogram
Ink: basic gray, orchid opulance
Accessories: basic gray taffeta ribbon
And lastly, here are a few outtakes from a rather impromptu mini photo shoot we had before running off to church this morning! LOL!! Of course the lighting is bad and I look goofy because I was trying to keep from laughing the whole time aaaaaaand it is pretty clear based on these photos that we need a tripod (Hahahaha!) but you know what? These pictures just make me smile! I hope they do the same for you!!
Happy Sunday, friends!!
