Beate asked me to participate in her Inspiration Challenge and I was very excited to say yes! Check out the inspiration item:
.....these are definitely not colors that I normally would gravitate to so I had to think 'outside the box' on this one just a bit, but I think it worked out ok in the end. :) IRL, the colors of this card look very similar to the colors of the cutting board!
To get the colors just right, I used real red ink on the sahara sand paper, but the strip of red cardstock you see is actually ruby red. I also stamped the French Script stamp off once before stamping it on my card base, so the Elegant Eggplant ink wouldn't be quite so dark.
