Today is my parents' 35th wedding anniversary!!! This is the card I made for them. I'm so proud of them.... being married for 35 years is so rare in this day and age.
I covered the chipboard numbers with Papertrey cardstock. How fun is that?! Believe it or not, I'm pretty new to covering chipboard with......anything, really! Haha! Shocking, I know! I think I was intimidated by it, but wow....it's totally not hard! I love how this turned out and I could NOT believe how well the Cosmo Cricket patterned paper goes with Papertrey's Perfect Match colors! Pretty cool, huh?
I also wanted to share a few links with you....these are some fun blogs I've recently found that I am sooo excited about! They have already given me a ton of inspiration! Check out Melissa Phillips, Annabelle O'Malley and Betsy Veldman. These 3 girls are regulars in Cards Magazine, etc. and I'm so glad to have found their blogs! Also, check out the Card Positioning Systems blog! (I know....where have I been?! Living under a rock, I guess! Hahaha!) Anyway, these are super fun blogs with lots of great card ideas!
Have a great day!!
Happy Anniversary, Mom & Dad!!
