Time for another Papertrey Blog Hop card! The blog hop is set up a little differently this month. You can read all about it here. Not all bloggers are officially 'in' the blog hop this time - 25 blogs are being randomly selected to be on the official blog hop list. All other bloggers, however, are still encouraged to make a card to participate, and can post a link to their card on the Papertrey Forum! So....if you want to see additional bloggers' cards that aren't on the Papertrey Blog Hop list, check out the Papertrey Forum!
This month's challenge was to use Nichole's 'Paper Pieces' download from the Father Knows Best patterned paper collection, in a creative way. (See download here)
This is what I came up with! Seriously, if you can mess stuff up, you can make this card! LOL! I punched out the circles and then used my Heidi Swapp edge distresser to rough up the edges. Then I wadded each one up in a ball and then unwadded it! See?! Anyone can do it! I've seen circle 'flowers' like these popping up all over the net on blogs and even ready made for you to buy in kits and such so I couldn't wait to try my hand at making my own. So fun! Give it a try!
Tomorrow night, my hubby and some of my family are going to see Barry Manilow in concert! :) It's one of those crazy nostalgic things from my childhood that I'm not afraid to say I still kinda love! We listened to Barry Manilow a lot when I was growing up cause my mom loved him. I loved seeing him on American Idol last season, I think it was, and I'm super excited to go see him IRL! I know some of you must have similar wacky childhood things that may be kooky to everyone else, but deep down, you still kinda love 'em! SO, what are they! What are you a little embarrassed to admit you still like? Do you love Barry Manilow? Do you still dig out the Kenny Rogers Christmas album every year? Do you still have your favorite Smurfs beach towel from when you were 8?? LOL!!
What are some of those crazy childhood quirks that you still love?? :)
