Beate's Be Inspired Challenge #18!

This week's photo for Beate's Be Inspired challenge comes from Martha Stewart.....pretty, huh? I didn't use the exact same colors, but I did go for the same 'feel' this week. What do you think? I went for elegant and I don't know if you can see it or not, but I used my sewing machine to sew along the floral lines of the patterned paper and then put a little bling at the intersections of these squares. It's kind of along the same lines as the sewing on her patterned paper that Nichole Heady did on her card in this post. So fun!

I worked as a graphic designer for ten years, before starting my own art business. I love color and all things vintage! My handsome husband, Bart, is also my best friend. He used that long season of illness to draw us closer to Him and we've also seen Him use our transplant story in amazing ways, to pour faith, hope and joy into the lives of others. Those years of struggle were so hard, but I wouldn't trade them because I can see how He was with us every step of the way and how He was using every bit of it for our good and His glory. My hope now, is that I can encourage you to choose joy in the midst of your own struggles. While you're here, I hope you laugh or smile or find some inspiration and encouragement. I hope you enjoy your time with me and ultimately, I hope you see some of HIM while you're here. He is everything. Much love, friends…
