Happy Friday!

Lookie at what flew over our office all afternoon!!  These are Air Force Thunderbird fighter jets and they're in town this weekend for the air show.  The Friday before the air show is always one of the most fun days of the whole year at our office, because they put on a little pre-show air show for us while we're working!  :)  Every year we're glued to the windows waiting for them to fly over.  They're so loud, of course, that you can hear them coming from quite a ways off.  Yesterday they flew over a few times so today, I went to work prepared.  I took along the Nikon and sure enough, just as we were leaving the office for the day, they came out to play.  So my husband, being the gem that he is, drove me up to the top of the hill behind our office and played the roll of lookout helping me to catch these shots.  I realize they are a tad blurry, but dang - these guys move FAST!!  I took well over a hundred shots, just to get a few that were decent.  So happy with these.  Aren't they such pretty planes?  The plane in the photo below almost looks like a toy!  :)

Kelly Purkey - because KP's blog is fun, fun, fun!  You never know what this girl will be doing but you can be sure that she's having a great time and most likely, she's taking photos while she's at it!  I just love that.  AND, she's only the self-portrait queen!

Susan Weinroth - because she's suuuuuuper sweet and because you won't find cuter baby boy pics anywhere than on her blog!  :)

Wendy Johnson - because I had the privilege of meeting Wendy at CHA and have come to love popping in over at her blog to see what's going on in her world.  Wendy couldn't have been more warm or friendly when I met her.  Thank you for that, Wendy!

Elizabeth Kartchner - because she not only has an amazing scrappy style, but that sense of style carries over into everything on her blog.  She's so cute and fun and I love her updates!

Cath Edvalson - because I also met Cath at CHA and have enjoyed getting to know her a bit more since then.  Cath is such a great writer, and not only that, she's hilarious besides!!  :)  I seriously had so much fun laughing my head off with Cath and Wendy and Nichole!

Becky Novacek - because her photography is so inspiring and because she's just so nice in real life.  We technically don't live all that far from each other, so I hope we can get together one of these days.  You'll love all the photos on her blog!

Jennifer McGuire - because she also couldn't be nicer in real life (Are you noticing a theme here??  This industry is just full of sweet women!) and because she has all kinds of tips and techniques and videos and such on her blog.  You're sure to find inspiration over there!

Britney Mellen - because she has a great eye for fashion and trends and the topics are random and just fun to read!  Check out the very cool family photo they just had taken!  

Delaney Gates - because I've recently discovered Delaney's blog and have so loved seeing her card creations -- she's another girl that knows how to use color!  OH, and she has great taste in shoes!  Hee!
