Hi All,
I promised photos from our weekend and here they are! We started our day with egg-in-a-holes of course, because I've already told you that now I'm addicted. :) After breakfast and coffee, we went to the city market which is pretty much a big farmers market surrounded by a lot of ethnic food stores & restaurants. I wish I could post the City Market smells for you here on my blog. It's so fragrant and enticing there! They have all kinds of foods that I've never eaten, but they sure do smell good! Ha!
The other thing about the market is just how pretty it is. I mean, God sure knew what He was doing when he created all those different fruits and veggies! They're so colorful! Aren't they pretty?
The venders in this stall are Amish, I believe, and they've been at the city market for YEARS. Literally, back when B & I were dating some 9 years ago, we'd go to the market almost every weekend and we'd always stop at this booth and get some kind of sweet treat, be it cookies or cinnamon rolls or a loaf of pumpkin bread. Mmmm. Such great memories. And the cool part about this Amish family is that their girls have helped to run that stall since they were little so we've watched them grow up over the years. There aren't any 'little' ones anymore, but I remember buying treats from them when they were 7 or 8 years old. So sweet! And their goodies??? Delish! This week, we came away with a couple giant cookies - 1 peanut butter and 1 chocolate chip. :)
And now, on to the pubs....these are a couple of my cards that were published in the July issue of Cards Magazine. The first is just a little mini card....these are so fun to make!
Hope you're all having a wonderful evening! Thanks again to those of you that have purchased stamp sets from me this week....I so appreciate it. There are still some left though, so if you haven't checked out the pictures of what sets I have left, feel free! ;) OH, and tomorrow I'll be back with Beate's inspiration challenge!
You should see Bart & Riley right now.....I'm sitting on the love seat with my feet propped up and Bart and Riley are stretched out on the floor (watching the Olympics - ha!)......they're both asleep and someone's snoring! I'm pretty sure it's RILEY! LOL!
I just might have to crawl down there and join them....they're lookin' awful cozy!
