Hey there, Peeps! How's your day goin'? Hopefully you're enjoying your weekend! I'm working in the studio while Bart's at a basketball meeting today. While I'm anxiously awaiting his arrival home, I thought I'd make the most of his time away and get some crafting done.
I'm totally loving this stitching trend lately! I can't seem to stop! Hee.
For this card, I stamped the sentiment (from Papertrey's Quilter's Sampler Sentiments) in versamark and heat embossed it with clear embossing powder. For the polka dots (from Papertrey's Polka Dot Basics stamp set), I also stamped those in versamark and heat embossed them with SU!'s Iridescent Ice embossing powder to give them some sparkle. And for the sweet little butterfly, I used one of Hero Arts Artistic Butterflies stamps with SU!'s Taken With Teal ink. After I stamped it, I used my paper piercer to poke holes around the edge of the butterfly and then I stitched it up with some Bazzill floss in french vanilla. So fun! After that, I just trimmed it out and voila!
Hope you have a wonderful afternoon and evening (and morning/day, for you international readers!). :)
Talk to you soon!
