Hi All! Nichole challenged us on the Papertrey Ink design team, to make a Christmas card to share with you that would be easily mass producible so that you can get your Christmas cards done quickly, easily and EARLY this year, rather than scrambling at the last minute! Doesn't that sound like a novel idea?!! ;) I know that I, for one, was so busy with everything else going on last year, that my Christmas cards were the last thing I got around to doing, and then I had to work like mad just to get them done in time. This year, I would so like to have them done early so that I don't have to fret about making my cards on top of everything else. I really want to take time to savor the season.....to cherish my time spent paper crafting, shopping for gifts, wrapping and spending time with loved ones. With a little planning and early preparation, it IS possible to enjoy the holiday season and take things at a bit slower pace!
This is the card I created to share with you as you can see, it's not a difficult card at all, but it's one that I think is so fun and festive! Papertrey's signature colors go a long way to making this card all that it is! Another fun thing about this card is that I used some of the tree images from Papertrey's new Merry & Bright - Additions stamp set that Melissa Bickford designed. I just LOVE these trees!! Each tree comes in 3 separate pieces, however I lined the three pieces up on my acrylic block so that I could stamp each tree all at the same time. Much faster!
