Kristina's Color Inspo. #24

HI All! Got a quickie post here with my Kristina card for her color challenge and then I'll be back in a snap with another fun post!

For this card, I used a piece of felt as the background layer and I cut out a couple of leaves free-hand and stitched around them a bit. SO fun and easy! I also used very vanilla craft ink on the pumpkin pie card stock for the toile image, and then heat embossed it with clear embossing powder. It gave it kind of a softer orange marble-y look. Very cool!

Stamps: SU! Bella Toile, PTI Birthday Basics
Ink: SU! chocolate chip, craft very vanilla
Accessories: Kunin felt, Hero Arts orange gemstones, Bazzill floss (french vanilla & hillary), clear embossing powder, SU! corner rounder punch, SU! curly label punch, PTI dark chocolate topnotch twill ribbon

He used that long season of illness to draw us closer to Him and we've also seen Him use our transplant story in amazing ways, to pour faith, hope and joy into the lives of others. Those years of struggle were so hard, but I wouldn't trade them because I can see how He was with us every step of the way and how He was using every bit of it for our good and His glory. My hope now, is that I can encourage you to choose joy in the midst of your own struggles. While you're here, I hope you laugh or smile or find some inspiration and encouragement. I hope you enjoy your time with me and ultimately, I hope you see some of HIM while you're here. He is everything. Much love, friends…
