Hey there! It's been a goooood day! Good because I got to all-out-belly-laugh at my funny husband today.....I just love when he makes me laugh! (It happens quite often but I haven't felt so good this week, ya know?) And good because I felt a bit better again today. And good because the BIG SHOT is FINALLY in the house! Ha! And good because even though the first Cricut Expression I got was defective, the brand new replacement came today too! Seriously....good day. I can't tell you how glad I am to feel even just a bit better than yesterday. And that laughing....well, I just love that.
For today's card, I decided to play along over at the CPS sketch blog. If you ever get in a rut and don't know what to make next, my advice would be to play along with a sketch challenge or a color challenge. They get you to thinking outside the box and they spark that creativity and sort of get the ball rolling. Always a good thing!
While being home sick earlier this week, I had a bit of time to read. It was either that or watch yet another episode of Gunsmoke or Bonanza. Side note: I personally feel like Bonanza is WAY more entertaining than Gunsmoke, but maybe that's just me. :) So back to what I read.....I'm happy to report that I finished A Mile In My Flip Flops by Melody Carlson, and it was a really fun read. So next up, I decided to tackle the Noble Legacy series by Susan May Warren, that's been waiting patiently on my bookshelf for quite some time, to be read.
