Good evening! I am in the studio tonight working on a few things and thought I'd share one of them with you before I head to bed. This is my take on Kristina's color challenge for the week. Goodness, this one took me awhile but I have to tell you that this card has so many scraps on it that I salvaged from here and there on my table. Yellow birdie that didn't work out on another project......orange scalloped patterned paper that didn't work out on another project.......white polka dot embossed card stock that didn't work out on another project.......are you seeing a pattern forming here?! Ha! It's a good thing I had those scraps laying around though because I think in the end it helped me out. I don't have a lot of 'stuff' in these colors. Like ribbon and such, so this one was definitely a bit more of a 'challenge' for me......but then I guess that's the point, huh? :) It definitely got me thinking outside the box.
Oh - studio update. I've had a change of heart about the wall color. I've thought and thought about it and I really think I'm going to go with 'kraft paper' color on the walls. Picture THESE COLORS as my studio color scheme. What do you think? I'd love your thoughts! I'm pretty excited about the 'kraft' color for the walls and I think we're gonna get the paint Friday and try to knock out this whole project Sat. and Sun. after church. Hallelujah! I'm so ready! :)
Have a great night, Kids. Can you believe it's already almost Thursday?! Where the heck did the first half of the week go?? I think I lost a day or two in there somewhere!
