Hi Crew,
Happy almost-Friday to you! I thought I'd share a card with you today that I made using this week's sketch from the Card Positioning Systems blog. Such a great way to kick-start your creativity if you're feeling in a rut. For today's card, I busted out some of my fun Hero Arts goodies (felt poinsettia's, stamp, note card) and I used my cricut expression to make the white label as well as the scalloped border. UM, I think I love my cricut -- geez louise, it's HAN-DY! I haven't really gotten to use it since we re-did the studio, so I'm looking forward to giving that thing a work out now that I've got my own little 'cricut station' set up on the extra desk.
I've been busy as usual over here working on some projects that I can't share with you just yet but I can't wait!! I did take time to squeeze in a little date time with Bartley last night though -- these things are important, you know?! We discovered a restaurant SUPER close to home with an absolutely de-lish Chicago style deep-dish pizza......OH, I'll be dreaming about that pizza until we have it again, I'm sure! :)
OOOOH, and did you see Nichole's blog yesterday and today?? Sneak peek time....I am in Papertrey heaven, creating this month's design team projects for the release!! Seriously.......fun month! The 15th will be here before you know it! Yippee!
And for those of you that might be wondering about Riley, I'm thrilled to report that he doesn't act like anything's wrong at all any more. He doesn't limp on his leg, never favors it and even runs up the stairs, if we can't catch him first! ;) (He was supposed to stay on one level of the house for a few weeks, so we were carrying him up the upstairs, but lately he just looks at us like we're weirdos when we 'suggest' that he might need help up the stairs! LOL!) He's not even been needing any pain meds at all. He's just getting his glucosamine vitamin and some anti-inflammatories. We're so thankful that he's doing better....sweet boy. I so appreciate those of you that have asked about him.
Look out weekend, here we come! Have a goodie, Peeps!
