Hi there!! I am so excited to report that we are off to beautiful Hawaii tomorrow!!! We're going on a cruise so, we'll be flying to Hawaii and will get on the ship over there, and then the ship will just island hop for the week! We'll visit Oahu, the big island, Maui & Kauai. SUCH a fun way to see several different islands without having to pack and unpack every other day! ;) We did a cruise like this one a couple years ago and are very excited to get to go back again. We earned this cruise with our credit card points, so going on a basically free cruise this year will allow us to save the money in our travel fund for next year. Maybe Europe again?? ;)
So here's the fun part!! I've been told that my iPhone should work perfectly thruout most of Hawaii with a few exceptions where there isn't any coverage. What that means is that I'll be able to do quickie blog posts from my phone when we're off the ship and out on the islands! Plus I can post Tweets on Twitter so you can follow along on our trip and see a few sites with us! :) We've got some fun things planned like helicopter rides (including one that flies over what you see in the photo above - we did this one before and it's AMAAAAAZING!) and a drive on the Road to Hana. Of course, the iPhone photos I post won't be great quality but at least you'll get a peek at what we're up to during the week! And rest assured that I'll be taking lots and lots of photos with the Nikon and I'll share those once we get home.
And don't worry....I won't be blogging the entire trip! Haha! I promise to get plenty of R&R!! (I can hear some of you already, reminding me to forget the blog and have FUN! *wink!*) I do have some posts scheduled to pop up while we're gone (including another color challenge!!) but I just thought that if we were gonna get to do some pretty fun stuff during the week, you might enjoy sort of being along for the ride! So.....have a great week and I'll report in from Hawaii! (Well, technically, if you follow me on Twitter, (see right hand side bar) I'll probably check in from the airport before we even leave! LOL!)
