An Anniversary Card

Hi-ya...

Last week was my parents' 36th anniversary, so I thought I'd share the card that I made for them. I'm pretty proud of them....36 years of marriage is becoming more and more of a rarity in this day and age. Love you, Mom & Dad!

I used Melissa Bickford's adorable Wishing You stamp set with my favie Polka Dot Basics. Geez....I still love that stamp set just as much as the first day I got it! So versatile.

All right, so tonight's post is a super shorty 'cause I'm still working on my pre-trip to-do list. Better get back to it!

He used that long season of illness to draw us closer to Him and we've also seen Him use our transplant story in amazing ways, to pour faith, hope and joy into the lives of others. Those years of struggle were so hard, but I wouldn't trade them because I can see how He was with us every step of the way and how He was using every bit of it for our good and His glory. My hope now, is that I can encourage you to choose joy in the midst of your own struggles. While you're here, I hope you laugh or smile or find some inspiration and encouragement. I hope you enjoy your time with me and ultimately, I hope you see some of HIM while you're here. He is everything. Much love, friends…
