Dinner With the Taplers

Last night, we got to have dinner w/Jen & Joel Tapler and we had such a great time! Jen emailed me when she read that we were coming to Hawaii and said that they live on Maui and would love to meet us so we arranged to have dinner together and I'm so glad we did! Jen was even so sweet as to put together a completely thoughtful basket of Maui goodies for us including chocolate covered macadamia nuts, a local cd, a Maui travel guide, etc. We were so touched by their kindness. Such a great evenig with new friends. Thanks so much, Jen and Joel. Hope we can do it again sometime. :)

He used that long season of illness to draw us closer to Him and we've also seen Him use our transplant story in amazing ways, to pour faith, hope and joy into the lives of others. Those years of struggle were so hard, but I wouldn't trade them because I can see how He was with us every step of the way and how He was using every bit of it for our good and His glory. My hope now, is that I can encourage you to choose joy in the midst of your own struggles. While you're here, I hope you laugh or smile or find some inspiration and encouragement. I hope you enjoy your time with me and ultimately, I hope you see some of HIM while you're here. He is everything. Much love, friends…
