Lunch at Mama's

Wow!! We had lunch at Mama's Fish House and it was sooooo good!! The open air restaurant is right on the beach and our table looked right out at the ocean. The weather is perfect and we even got to watch some surfers while we ate. The inside of the restaurant is sooo cool too. Vintage Hawaiian. Love it. I had the Bouilliabase which you can see in the photo....an amazing seafood soup. (you know me and soup!) :)

Mama's isn't cheap but it was totally worth it. I could have stayed there all afternoon. Happy sigh.

Tonight, we're meeting Jen & Joel Tapler for dinner. Heading into Maui Ocean Center for a bit first.

He used that long season of illness to draw us closer to Him and we've also seen Him use our transplant story in amazing ways, to pour faith, hope and joy into the lives of others. Those years of struggle were so hard, but I wouldn't trade them because I can see how He was with us every step of the way and how He was using every bit of it for our good and His glory. My hope now, is that I can encourage you to choose joy in the midst of your own struggles. While you're here, I hope you laugh or smile or find some inspiration and encouragement. I hope you enjoy your time with me and ultimately, I hope you see some of HIM while you're here. He is everything. Much love, friends…
