Hi-ya!! We're back on the ship after a very relaxing day in Kona on the Big Island. We had to tender ashore again today and once we got on the island, we just walked around soaking up the sights and checking out some of the shops. We had lunch RIGHT on the water at Bubba Gumps. The first photo was our view while we ate....not too shabby, huh?! ;) That's our ship off in the distance and there were even a few surfers to entertain us while we ate. The weather was perfect for eating outside and for taking a leisurely stroll around town.
The second photo is of some of the many flowers on the islands and the last two photos give you a peek inside the tender boats. We were sitting in the middle of the boat. The first photo is looking toward the front where the driver sits and the second one looks toward the back. Each of these tenders get packed with right around 100 people. Hard to believe, huh?
Our ship will be heading out in another hour or so, making our way to Kauai. Tonight, we're planning to have dinner at the sushi restaurant and might take in the show after that.
