Hello!!! I have a few more 'Mod' projects to share with you today, using my newest stamp set, Mod Squad!
I just love how simple, yet feminine and fun this first card is. I cut out the white label shape using my Cricut Expression and the Storybook cartridge. I love that it mirrors the white border on the bottom of the card, that I punched out using my Upper Crest punch from Fiskars.
I heat embossed the dots from Polka Dot Basics II on the raspberry fizz card stock, with Filigree clear embossing powder. LOVE! (Help me...I can't stop with the heat embossing...) ;)
Next, I thought I'd show you how Mod Squad works well with some other stamp sets in the Papertrey line-up! Check out this fun combo below....
I made a happy little discovery while stamping this week. Notice how the 'decorative circles' background stamp from Mod Squad coordinates with Lisa's circle patterned couch?! How cute is that?
I stamped the patterned strip on my melon berry card front using melon berry ink, and I also stamped the couch in the same ink, but on stamper's select white card stock. The rug is also stamped in melon berry ink on the white base, but I stamped the couch on a separate piece of white so I could cut it out and pop it off the front of my card. I also stamped the little pillows in the same fashion, popping them off the front of the couch with a little foam adhesive.
Not only does Mod Squad work with On My Couch, it also works with
Scattered Showers!!! How about a moddy little umbrella? :)
I stamped the umbrella handle on the kraft card stock that I sewed to the front of my card base. Then I stamped the umbrella & it's moddy pattern on a piece of stamper's select white card stock, so I could cut it out and adhere it to the card front with more foam adhesive. Also, notice the fun little star image in the background? That's another image from Mod Squad!
In honor of this moddy little umbrella, how about a giveaway?! I'm giving away one Scattered Showers stamp set to one random winner!! All you have to do is leave a comment on this post telling me your thoughts on Mod Squad! Did you have a favorite project from this week? Could you see yourself using Mod Squad for your own projects? Have you got your wish list all made out and ready for tonight's Papertrey release? :)
