How is your Monday going? I spent my day in the studio making cards and packing up a couple of Etsy orders to ship out. (thanks, ladies!) :) I need to add some more cards to my shop now!
Here's a card I made today that I CAN share with you. Most of what I'm currently working on is for this month's Papertrey release, so you'll have to wait a few days to see them but not too long really.......because I have a stamp set coming out THIS MONTH!!! That means I'll start sharing my projects with you right here, when the official Countdown starts on the 10th! That's in just a few days! I can't wait for you to see this new set! It's FUN!
For today's card, I used my Damask Designs stamp set along with a couple of those new punches that I can't seem to stop using. ;) The one on the left is the apron lace punch and the other one is the upper crest punch. As for the colors I used, that's Stampin' Up!'s (retired) wild wasabi and Papertrey's aqua mist and the new
scarlet jewel.
As for the last couple of days, we've spent lots of time with family. 4th of July was full of picnic food and fireworks and lots of laughter. Such a great day w/Bart's side of the family. Then yesterday was the annual family reunion with my side of the family which involved a road trip and about 8 hours or so in the car! But it was also a lot of fun......got to spend some time with 'the babies' (my niece & nephew), which is always a good thing. The photo below is one of my favorites from yesterday. This barn belongs to my great aunt now, but was her parents' before that. I love this barn. I love this property. I love the sense of peace that comes with spending time out in the country. It was a great day. :)
Hope you all have a fabulous evening. I'll see ya later, Chicas!
