Morning! Happy Friday to you!! Back with Day 5 of The Pink Series. On this first card, I used the adorable little bird images from the Everyday Button Bits set. That big, chubby button bird makes me smile every time. :) I paired the birds with more dots from Polka Dot Basics II and some hibiscus burst bitty dot satin ribbon.
Can I tell you how much I love this sentiment? Not only does it go so well with the bird images, but it's just so.......me! Ha. So glad Nichole included it in the set!
Ahhhh......Enjoy life. This card is certainly simple, but I think it turned out so elegant too. Don't you think? I stamped the flower images from In Bloom in vintage cream ink and paired them with a sentiment from the Star Prints set.
I added a bit of zigzag stitching with my sewing machine around the edges of the top two layers and then threw in a dark chocolate luxe satin bow. Those top two layers are popped up off the card a bit, with foam adhesive.
I've had so much fun with The Pink Series this week, that I've got one more card in the series that I'll show you on Sunday. ;) AND, I've enjoyed this so much (and it seems that a lot of you have too) that I think I just might make it a regular feature here at the blog-o......The COLOR Series where I'll feature different colors just like I did this week. What do you think? Would you be interested in more series like The Pink Series, featuring different colors? And if so, what colors are you most excited to see featured?? Or, what color do you have a hard time working with, and could benefit from seeing lots of ideas on what colors to pair it with?
