Hi All! I spent the day designing on the computer, which meant spending time in our big cushy two-butt chair with a laptop on my lap all day, rather than spending time paper-crafting in the studio. :) That means that while it was a very productive design day for me, I don't have anything crafty to share with you at the moment, but I do have a couple of 'sweet shots' to share with you that were sent to me.
First up, remember how I told you that I got have lunch with Savitri and Emma and baby Jovie yesterday? Well, Savitri took this photo of me and her 5-year-old dolly, Emma! Is she seriously adorable or what?! (Did you see her entry for the color challenge this week?!) Ahhh......Emma, I had SO much fun meeting you! I hope we get to see each other again before too long! (Thanks for sending the photo, Savitri!)
And here's a fun photo that David Heady took for us at CHA.......the Papertrey girlies with
Jennifer McGuire. She was working at the Hero Arts booth, and we had to go visit her first thing. She's SUCH a dear. I just love her.....but then, I think most everyone loves Jennifer! Hee.
Oh....I also have some books to report on. :) I recently read a couple books by Christian author,
Cathy Marie Hake, that were really fun. They're both historical fiction and both had their fair share of interesting characters, suspense, a bit of romance and some humor too. I enjoyed them both....plus, I love how books like these, that are set back in the early 1800's make me want to grow my own garden, eat fresh vegetables and bake! LOL!
Click on the book covers to check them out at Amazon. I found a couple more by Cathy that I haven't read yet....looking forward to those!
Hope you're doing well!
TTFN,
