Hey there,
Happy Wednesday! Here are a few more pictures from my weekend in Tennessee. On Sunday, after another lazy morning talking and laughing, we spent the afternoon in Nichole's studio. Here's a bit of the mess we created! It was so great to have some crafty time with crafty friends. I really enjoyed it.....we were able to just relax and create.....just for the fun of it. A rarity, for sure!
Here's a shot of Miss Nichole's hands, hard at work coloring a leaf with her copics. You can see the flower she'd already finished, laying there on the table.
Ok, so you should know that one thing we did a LOT of over the weekend was LAAAAAUGH and a lot of the time, it was because Mishie gave us no choice! In this picture, she grabbed Nichole's wooden scissors (which are strictly wall art! Ha.) and proceeded to try and cut some twine with Wendy's assistance! :)
And this one's the best one yet........check out Mish's tongue! She looks so determined to trim her ribbon on that card! LOL!! I think by then, we were just a bit giddy! Hahaha.
Here are the cards that we all made that afternoon. They look so cute all lined up, don't they? (ETA: I've gotten lots of questions regarding the storage unit in the photo -- it is a custom piece that David built for Nichole, and is not something that can be bought anywhere. Sorry!) ;)
Here's a close-up of the second card I made that day.....got more Copic practice on this one, coloring the flower and leaves. The flower is actually a small flower from In Bloom that I stamped 3 times in a sort of circle to create this bigger flower. The sentiment is from Vintage Picnic and of course, the flourishes are from Fancy Flourishes.
And here's a shot of Nichole, me and Mishie, that David took of us out on their screened porch the last morning that we were there. We spent a lot of our weekend out on that screened porch laughing and talking and laughing some more. I lost track of the times that I laughed till I cried! When we'd finally get hungry, we'd all move to the kitchen to prepare amazing meals that Nichole had planned, and then we'd move out to the deck to eat. Our weekend wasn't booked up with lots of 'things to do', but rather with time to just BE together and it was so, so great! I love this picture because it reminds me of some of the most fun (and funniest!) parts of our weekend.
Thank you so much, Nichole and David, for taking such great care of us....I had such a great time celebrating with you! Love ya!
P.S. Don't forget that tomorrow starts the official Papertrey Countdown, so I'll have projects to share with you for the next 5 days, that give you peeks at my newest stamp set in the Raspberry Suite line-up! Can't wait! See you soon!
