Hi there, Peeps!
I've gotta be quick today because we need to have dinner and then I have to run off to church for worship team practice tonight but I wanted to pop in and share a fun little card with sort of a fallish flower. I punched the flowers out with my Marvy Flower Punches and used orange zest card stock for the largest layer, some plaid patterned paper from the Autumn Abundance collection and a bit of vintage book print for the smallest layer. I stamped some Background Basics: Text Style II on the card front, added a strip of cream card stock stamped with some orange zest Polka Dot Basics II and I just love that sentiment from Star Prints! I hope that you are 'enjoying life' today!
I just wadded up those flower layers and then opened them back up a bit, and after I'd flattened them back out some, I distressed the edges with some Vintage Touch Tea Dye inks. It was a cinch!
I also forgot to show you the new purse I got when in Chicago the other day! Sorry for the 'purse talk', for any men that might be reading this, but these are important things we discuss here at the Raspberry Suite blog-o! Haha!
It was kind of hard to get a decent picture of it because it's kind of a shiny black, but I just love the old-school clamp/clasp at the top of the purse. Reminds me of the purses my great-grandma used to carry! Oh, and the best part about this purse is that I got it at Aldo, which means that it didn't come with a hefty designer price tag! ;)
All righty.....I'd better get a move on. Have a great night, Dearies.......chat soon!
