Hello Dearies....
I've been showing you cards all week using Vintage Ornaments and Vintage Ornaments Additions, and now both sets are available for purchase at Papertrey Ink! If you haven't seen them yet in their entirety, click the links to check them out! I've been so excited for you to get to see both sets! It's also been so heart-warming to hear that so many of you have enjoyed not only the projects this week, but also the walk down memory lane as you thought back to ornaments similar to these from your childhood and the loved ones that they remind you of.
The Papertrey release party last night was fun, fun.......did you get to order some new goodies? ;)
For today, I've got cards to share with you that I made using the other new releases this month at Papertrey Ink! This first card features Heather Nichols' new Holiday Tree set.......such sweet little images and sentiments. I used a bunch of the words from the set to create a little word border.
Next up is a set designed by none other than Nichole Heady.....Holiday Button Bits! Don't you just love that big holly leaf image? So fun adding my little button 'berries' to complete the focal point! I also paired it with a little Polka Dot Basics II border, to mirror the dots on the leaves.
And lastly, this card features two sets that were released this month. I'm sure it wasn't hard for you to guess that this tag from the new 2009 Holiday Tags Collection is one that I designed! *wink!* After I layered it on a scalloped circle that I'd punched out, I added glitter all around the scalloped edge, by running my two-way glue pen along the scallops and then sprinkling on the glitter. And of course, you can see the big Giga Guide Lines border that I stamped along the bottom of the card front. So simple to do, but boy, that set makes a statement! I just love that!
I hope you're all having a fabulous week! I'm SO excited to share pictures from our Chicago weekend getaway -- it was WONDERFUL! Hopefully I'll get them posted in the next day or two. AND, I'll have an update on our new tree for you! You won't believe how RED it is! YAY!
