I've got a couple of cards to share with you today -- both using more traditional Christmas colors and both of them pair Vintage Ornaments with Damask Designs. You can't go wrong with that combo, right? :)
On this first card, I paired the long ornament with a strip of damask stamped with pure poppy ink on pure poppy card stock and a pretty scalloped lace border.
Don't you just loooove how candy-cane-ish this card is? Haha! I love it! I stamped the ornament in fresh snow ink on kraft card stock and then stamped a solid stripes pattern over the top in pure poppy ink. Then I used my Martha Stewart glue pen to add some Palette glitter to the stripes. So candy-ish! I love it! The sentiment is one from Vintage Ornaments.
Ooh, this card makes me smile too......how about that great big star image on the ornament?? Fun, right? I stamped the ornament in spring moss ink and the starburst in ripe avocado. I think this ornament looks so pretty when paired with Damask Designs.
This sentiment is also one from Vintage Ornaments. I added a bit of glitter, a rhinestone, some patterned paper and a bit of stitching to finish this card off. It's simple but it packs a bit of punch! :)
