Hi there! Happy MONDAY! I have a little card to share with you today that I whipped up yesterday when I spent some time in the studio. I used some of the new Turning a New Leaf patterned papers and a bit of vintage book print. I also had the little brown flower and brad hangin' around my desk, so I layered them on one of my scalloped book print circles to create a fun little flower feature. The leaves are just hand cut from spring moss card stock and I distressed them with my Heidi Swapp edge distressor. I used some vintage touch tea dye ink on the flower and patterned papers to distress them a bit as well.
And don't you just love that sentiment and the little music notes? Those are from the Birds of a Feather stamp set.
I also whipped up some more embellies yesterday while I was in the studio -- my "Spot of Tea" embellies. :) These use a polka dotted teapot image from the Tea For Two stamp set, the teacup image from Papertrey's free anniversary set last year -- Everyday Classics, as well as one of the new background patterns from Background Basics: Diamonds. I think these embellies are almost sold out in my Etsy Shop, but if so, don't worry. I have some Cozy Comforts embellies coming up next. :)
I hope you all have a fabulous Monday. I'm SO happy to report that all of the Christmas decorating is now finished here at the McVey ranch and I'll have lots of photos of our Christmas tree, etc. to share with you soon! I also have another color challenge coming up this week so stay tuned for that!!
