Did you see the newest sneak peek over on Nichole's blog??? This is a snippet from the newest stamp set in the Raspberry Suite line-up, which will be available for purchase at Papertrey Ink starting on Jan. 15th! It's a little something that I think you just might find fun and useful whether you're a card maker OR a scrap-booker!!
And don't forget that The Countdown begins on the 10th, where you'll get to see projects using this month's new releases every day for 5 days leading up to the release! The Countdown is almost here -- the 10th is just a few days away! Are you getting excited???? I know I am!
Aaaaaand......just so you have a little something else to peek at while you're waiting on The Countdown to start, I have a fun little card and project to share with you today! I have many thank you cards that I need to get sent out for the Christmas gifts that we received so I whipped up a batch of 10 of these little gems and while I was working on them, I thought you might like to see a video tutorial on how to make the little ruffly button flowers! Hope you like it!
So after I got all of my flowers made and I had my first card designed, it was easy to go ahead and cut and stamp all of the additional elements for the card. Then when I had them all gathered up, I just started assembling the cards and had a whole stack completed in no time!
I stamped a Damask Designs background pattern in pure poppy ink on berry sorbet card stock and added a strip of pure poppy bitty box basics patterned paper along the bottom of the berry sorbet card stock. Then, I added a bit of rustic cream card stock along the bottom of that, that I'd punched with my SU! scalloped edge punch.
All that was left was to add my little sentiment strip (sentiment from Cupcake Collection - love that font combo!) and the flower!
Oh, and one more thing, speaking of Christmas gifts....I have a few special ladies that I want to say thank you to. These sweet ladies are readers that have sent cards and goodies to my post office box lately, making the task of going to the post office a lot more fun! Haha! Thank you to Barbara Axmacher, Heather Ruwe, Andrea Scoville, Barb Waldsmith, Lydia Fiedler, Sharon Holden and Veronica Singh! I appreciate each one of you. Thank you for thinking of me and for your generosity! You're all dears!
I hope you've enjoyed today's post! Back soon with lots more fun stuff to share!
