Hello!! Thank you SOOO much for all of your sweet comments about my new Studio Style stamp set and the Color Couture line! Goodness, I can't tell you how much I enjoy reading your comments first thing in the morning, and then throughout the day. What a treat to hear how excited you are about these new products soon to be offered at Papertrey Ink.
I've got lots more to show you today so let's get right to it, shall we?! Studio Style has 16 stamps in the set and it will sell for $15.
Nichole is always making adorable cards with her hand-drawn boxes around different images and I always tell myself I'm going to make a card with that same detailing and then I never get it done. Until today! How much fun are these jars of buttons lined up in a row?!! I colored them in with my Copic markers. You could make this same card in a rainbow array of colors! And how about that cute sentiment from Studio Style?! "I {heart} paper crafting!" Sigh....
Studio Style also has 3 single button images that you can use alone or together. I made these cute little button packets by using the small and medium glassine bags and filling them with various colors of Papertrey's vintage buttons. Either size would be soooo perfect for tucking into an envelope with a hand made card to send off to a crafty friend. Yes, it would cost you a little bit more in postage, but how much would you love it if you got a beautiful little package of buttons in the mail?! You could also use either size of these little treats as party favors for a craft group, a church ladies group, etc.
I die cut these label shapes from white adhesive sheets, stamped the new Fillable Frames image and then stamped a cluster of buttons from Studio Style in the ink color that coordinates with the color of buttons that are in the bag. THEN, because I stamped the whole thing on adhesive sheets, all that was left to do was to peel off the backing and stick them right on the glassine bags to keep the buttons secure! Talk about handy!!
For the smallest button treat bags, I stamped the largest button image from Studio Style again on a white adhesive sheet. This button image coordinates with a 3/4" circle punch so it made it super easy to punch the buttons out, peel off the paper backing and stick the buttons directly on the glassine bags. What CUTE little stickers, huh???
Here's another fun use for the smallest button image in Studio Style. I stamped one of the new background patterns from Heather's new Background Basics: Tin Types in aqua mist ink on spring moss card stock. Then, I stamped the small button inside every other square in the background pattern! The button is a perfect fit and the Tin Types background gives you a perfect grid pattern to stamp the buttons in.
And now, for another fun sentiment combo from Studio Style! "On your birthday and always...."
"Wishing you major mojo!" Hahaha! The perfect birthday wish! I just love all of the fun sentiments in this set.
And lastly for today, a Color Couture card for you. One really cool feature of the Color Couture embellies is that you can pull some of them out and create your own different color combos by using embellies that just feature a couple colors such as these that I used today. The scalloped trim and the sentiment embellie both use dark chocolate and kraft colors so I decided to pair them with orange zest and terracotta tile instead of using the Color Couture color combo as they were designed. What a cool look, huh? The pattern that I stamped on the kraft card stock is a pattern from Heather's new Background Basics: Tin Types set.
And check this out....I used one of the new Impressions Plates to create the 'debossed' pattern on the rustic cream card stock and then I went back in with one of the single dot stamps from the new Dot Spot set and stamped the orange zest dots one at a time. I love the look that I was able to create by putting both of these steps together!
All righty, today is Group Post day for the Papertrey Design Team so be sure and check out my Egg Hunt post for today, as well as all of the other girls' blogs. Niki Estes, Alli Miles and Melissa Bickford will also have more peeks at their new stamp sets for you too!
I'll be back tomorrow with more Studio Style and Color Couture peeks for you!!
