Hello there!! I hope you're having a great day so far. I'm excited to share more sneak peeks with you! First up, a card to show you with quite a few new goodies on it. I stamped the large dahlia image from Delightful Dahlia on one of the new downloadable Color Couture raspberry fizz dotted patterned papers from this month's Color Couture Download. I stamped the large leaf image from Delightful Dahlia on kraft card stock and I layered them both on another new Color Couture patterned paper -- the ledger paper in the background.
I stamped the sentiment (also from Delightful Dahlia) directly on the ledger paper and added a raspberry fizz button to the center of the dahlia. I finished the card off with a bit of vintage book print along the bottom of the card and a sweet little aqua mist bow. Can you just imagine this large dahlia stamped on a wide variety of different patterned papers? The possibilities really are endless!
I thought you might like a peek at the set of Delightful Dahlia dies that coordinate with the set. This set of dies will sell be available for $15 beginning on March 15 at Papertrey Ink. You can see how these dies will make creating dahlias a snap whether you plan to stamp them on patterned papers or you prefer to color them in yourself!
This next card features quite a few new goodies too. I used the small dahlia and small leaf image from Delightful Dahlia and colored them in with Copic markers. I layered them on Heather's new Fillable Frames #2 stamp and used the frame image to help frame my sentiment -- another from Delightful Dahlia.
Be sure to keep an eye out at Nichole's blog as well as Heather's for more info about the FABULOUS patterned papers I used on this card. I am in LOVE with them! You'll also notice a new bitty dot satin ribbon on this card in the new hawaiian shores color.
Lastly for today is a Color Couture card for you. I used one of the new artisan card templates that's available in this month's Color Couture Download, as well as another one of the downloadable patterned papers. I paired them with one of the sentiment embellies from the Color Couture embellie collection (Vol. 3) and added a couple of hibiscus burst buttons on either side of the embellie.
I also love this simple little ribbon treatment. I adhered a strip of Scor-Tape to the back side of a strip of hibiscus burst classic grosgrain ribbon and adhered it to the card front. When I got to the right side of the card, I bunched the ribbon up as I stuck it to the card. After that, I simply stitched down the center of the ribbon with my sewing machine.
Can you see yourself using this card template for a variety of different cards? It makes it so easy to take a simple card and jazz it up just a bit!
That's all for this post but I have two posts for you today so be sure to check out my Trendy Tabs post in case you missed it! I hope to see you back here again tomorrow for more sneak peek fun! Be sure to pop in on Nichole Heady and Heather Nichols today as well as Melissa Bickford, Beth Silaika and Becky Oehlers.
