Hi-ya! How's it goin'? Are you enjoying your weekend? Today, I've got a card to share with you using Hero Arts beautiful hydrangea stamp again.......goodness, with such a gorgeous focal image as this, it sure does make it easy to whip up a beautiful card in no time at all!
Every year at about this time, we start seeing hydrangea plants in the stores, waiting to be given to moms for Mother's Day or taken home to be planted in the garden. I love how variegated the colors can be on these flowers so I decided to go for that look when I colored this image.
After I had the image all colored in, I stamped a strip of Papertrey's Background Basics: Text Style II across the bottom of the image using spring moss ink. I love the added bit of texture it brought to the card. The sentiment is from Papertrey's Birds of a Feather stamp set. The book print ric rac was cut with my new Ric Rac Die (also from Papertrey).
