Hello there, Sweets!
I've been trying to get reacquainted with my crafting supplies this week. It's been almost 4 weeks since I last paper-crafted! Can you believe it? So while trying to get past the feeling of being a bit rusty, I whipped up a little card to send to my bestie along with a treat I picked up for her. The sentiments I used are both from my Delightful Dahlia stamp set and the leaves were cut out with the Delightful Dahlia dies. The flowers were both cut out with the Beautiful Blooms II dies and all of those items are back in stock at Papertrey (as of this morning) so if you've been waiting to get them, you should be able to now. YAY!
The card base is the fabulous new Hawaiian Shores color as well as the felt I used on the flower. The patterned paper is from the Green Boutique collection and the ribbon, button and leaf card stock are all New Leaf as well as the ink color I used on the sentiments. I just used old book print on the scalloped ruffles again....I'm still hooked on vintage-y, scallop-y ruffles. :) Oh, and I inked up everything with Vintage Touch Tea Dye ink.
I've got lots more to create, so I'd better get back to it but I wanted to be sure and pop in and share this one. Hope your week has gotten off to a great start! It's looking like a storm may blow in this evening. It's springtime in the midwest. :)
Have a goodie, Peeps!
