A Girly Getaway

This is me and my friend Pam Wilson last year. (Goodness, I've lost some weight since then!) She's a sassy little dear and I love her. I've told you before about how we "met". And last year, she came to visit us.

This is what Pam and I do best when we're together or just on the phone......

We LAUGH. OUR HEADS OFF!

And today, I'm gonna get on a plane (well two technically, but who's counting?) and go visit my friend Pam for a few days and I can't wait!! And not only that, but I'll get to meet another friend for the first time.....my friend Jenn. We've "known" each other online for years now -- as long as I've known Pam, but at Pam's we'll get to meet in person. Heck, I think Pam is gonna make us sleep in the same bed.....something about only having one guest room.

Hahaha.....I can't wait to spend some time with these dear girls. I'll definitely take pictures of all of our antics.....wouldn't want you to miss out!

Those years of struggle were so hard, but I wouldn't trade them because I can see how He was with us every step of the way and how He was using every bit of it for our good and His glory. My hope now, is that I can encourage you to choose joy in the midst of your own struggles. While you're here, I hope you laugh or smile or find some inspiration and encouragement. I hope you enjoy your time with me and ultimately, I hope you see some of HIM while you're here. He is everything. Much love, friends…
