Hey there, Friends!
So glad you could stop by for a visit today! I've got a few more projects to show you today........this time I'll be focusing on another set of patterned papers included in the Color Couture June Download (available at Papertrey Ink on June 15 for just $5). Here is a shot of the two patterned papers I'll be highlighting today....this is what they look like when you print them out. These two papers coordinate with the Color Couture Embellies - Volume 6 collection and they print at 8" x 8"....
Aren't they fun? And the best part is that because there are just a few colors used on each of these papers, it makes them all the more versatile for mixing and matching with other crafting goodies you may already have on hand.
For the first card I created, I used the Up, Up & Away dies to die cut the hot air balloons from these two Color Couture June Download papers. I cut off the basket portion from each die cut and then added them to my card front over the stamped baskets. I also die cut some clouds using the clouds dies, inked them with a bit of vintage touch tea dye ink and layered them behind the balloons. Don't the balloons look SO cute in these patterns?? :)
The sentiment was also stamped from the Up, Up & Away stamp set and I used the large scallop border die to create the scalloped edge along the bottom of the card.
Next up is a fun little "Hey There" card that I'm just loving! I used a bit of Heather Nichols' new Library Ledger patterned paper for the background as well as some more of the floral paper from the June Color Couture Download. I also die cut a bit of that same floral paper with the Mat Stack 1 die and then layered some flower images that I created using the Beautiful Blooms II stamp set and coordinating dies.
The mini flower images are also from Beautiful Blooms II and to finish things off, I added a few adhesive pearls from Kaiser Scrapbook.
Lastly for today is a quick and easy friendship card showing you how well this floral paper from the Color Couture June Download coordinates with some of the papers from the Autumn Abundance patterned paper collection. I just love how summery this card turned out!
I used the butterfly die to die cut 5 butterflies from the Color Couture paper as well as the Autumn Abundance papers and then adhered them to my rustic cream card front, adding a bit of vintage touch tea dye ink to all of the edges of each piece. The buttons are summer sunrise buttons that I threaded with rustic jute button twine and I die cut the cute sentiment panel using the fillable frames #4 die. The sentiments are from Friends 'Til the End.
All righty, I'm off for today but I'm so glad I got to spend this bit of time with you! Don't forget to bop over to visit Nichole Heady....she and Lisa Johnson are showcasing Lisa's latest stamp set. Heather Nichols and Melissa Bickford will both have more sneakie peeks for you today as well!
Enjoy your weekend,
