Hey there, Peeps!! Happy Monday!
I've got some cards to share with you today that were published in the May issue of CARDS Magazine. (Thanks, CARDS!) This first one just makes me smile. The Blooming Button Bits stamp set paired with Papertrey's fabulous selection of buttons is just a winning combination! I paired up lots of plum pudding goodies here with some spring moss card stock and stamped the leaves in ripe avocado ink.
This one features sentiments from my own Say It With Style stamp set. The background was stamped with Polka Dot Basics II and Fancy Flourishes. The soft pink, black and cream combo paired with flourishes was what the magazine highlighted in their Style Challenge feature for this issue. (Notice another beautiful and unique button on this one....also from Papertrey Ink. I {heart} Papertrey's buttons.
Ahhh....here's a happy number. The stars and "It's Your Day" sentiment are all from Star Prints. I just used a page from an old book on this one and stamped a border from Background Basics: Diamonds using summer sunrise ink and the patterned paper is from the In Bloom collection.
This one shows you another pattern from Background Basics: Diamonds stamped in fresh snow ink on kraft card stock. The sentiment is from my Signature Greetings stamp set and I added a couple ruffly, rumply flowers. See video tutorial for flowers here -- for these flowers, I just left off the buttons that I used in the video. Love the bits of berry sorbet ink, patterned paper and ribbon on this one.
And lastly, a card with some Basic Grey goodies on it, paired with a sentiment from Giga Guide Lines.
Hope you're getting your week off to a great start. I'm hoping to accomplish lots in the studio this week -- both on the computer and with my stamps and papers and inks. :) In fact, I guess I'd better get back to work!
