Hello there! How the heck are ya??
I have a little thank you card to share with you today. I was asked to contribute a card for the Got Sketch? Blog - for their Sketch #101 and this was my contribution. Fun, huh? :) You'll have to pop over to Got Sketch? to see all of the cards that were contributed using the same sketch.
For my card, I used papers from October Afternoon's Thrift Shop line. Oh my Lordy bees, I'm still loving that paper so much. I punched out 1 3/8" squares of the papers and then rounded two opposite corners on each square with my corner chomper. I paired the papers up with a sentiment and star image from Papertrey's Star Prints stamp set and used my star punch to punch out the star. Don't you just love that font combo on the sentiment?
That's a soft little strip of black felt that I die cut with Papertrey's small scallop border die and then stitched it to the card.
Well, I'm diving into some serious paper crafting in the studio today. It feels GOOD...it's been a little while since I was able to just sit and craft. But that's the top priority for the next couple of days. Yay! Off to play with paper.....
Have a goodie!
