Hi-ya, Peeps....
So each year at CHA, Papertrey offers an exclusive stamp set for free with each $100 purchase. The stamp set will never be sold in the store and is a special incentive that's offered for those that have made the trip to attend CHA. It's no surprise that this year's set was just gorgeous.....it's called Four Of A Kind and it's positively lovely.
Each of the designers on the Papertrey Design Team created a card using this exclusive CHA set, to be displayed in the Papertrey Booth at CHA this year. This is the card I created. The large leaf image is part of Four Of A Kind and the set also includes several different flower images that can be used in conjunction with this beautiful leaf image. The "smile" sentiment is also one from the set.
I started with a simply chartreuse card base and stamped the leaves in ripe avocado on rustic cream card stock. The flowers were stamped with berry sorbet ink and I added some threaded berry sorbet buttons to the flower centers. I stitched a strip of patterned paper from the It's Official collection to the bottom of the card and finished it off with a berry sorbet topnotch twill bow.
I'll be back again tomorrow with another fun project I made for Papertrey's CHA booth. Until then, I hope you have a wonderful day. Bart and I are thoroughly enjoying our time in Chicago. Today's our last day here so we're making the most of every minute. Yesterday, we walked and walked while shopping on Michigan Avenue, had lunch at Italian Village (a Chicago institution) and had dinner at Lou Malnati's (yes, that was our second time at Lou's since we got here!). Mostly, we've just been enjoying time together, relaxing and taking it easy. SUCH a treat. I know I tell you all the time, but I so love my husband and I love spending time with him. :)
I also want to say thank you to everyone that came by and said hi at the Papertrey CHA Booth. It was so great to meet so many blog readers and online friends! I'll have lots of pictures and a full report to share with you once we get home and get settled in.
Until then, happy day, Everyone!
