Hello there, Dearies.....
Have you gotten to place an order at Papertrey yet for the goodies on your wish list? Need a little more eye candy to help you decide what you might want to order? How about a look at the rest of the projects I created for this month's release?
First up, Heather's Holly Jolly set. I love how this turned out! I used one of my new Vintage Ornaments dies and a stamp from Vintage Ornaments Additions and then added a sentiment, holly leaves, the December 25 label and a holly border all from Holly Jolly.
Seriously, I'm thinking about making a whole pile of cards and/or tags with that fun ornament/holly combo! :)
Next up, Year of Flowers: Marigolds. Yes, I know that marigolds are typically orange or yellow. That is exactly why I chose to make mine a pretty berry color! Hahaha. I love these pretty flower images and especially love them cut out and layered and Copic colored a bit. Fun!
For the large flower, I stamped it 3 times and just cut out different portions of the flower for each layer.
Ahhh......Friendship Jar Holiday Fillers. Not only does this set have some really adorable Christmas sentiments, the images are so stinkin' cute!
I used the jar topper die to add the little ruffle to the jar and topped that with rhinestones. I also die cut a mat stack 4 shape from hawaiian shores card stock, cut it in half and adhered each half to the back side of my candy cane image so that it peeks out on either side. Fun way to sort of 'frame' an image.
This is Alli Miles' Holiday Sparkle set. The snowflakes and sentiment are all from the set. I stamped the snowflakes in pure poppy ink and added red rhinestones to finish them off.
I used the Victorian Lace border die to create a double border on either side of the snowflakes. I love, love, love that look! So pretty and intricate.
Next up is Becky Oehlers' Merry Little Christmas set. I stamped the tree, berries and birdie on the vintage cream card base and then die cut a piece of berry sorbet card stock twice with the mat stack 4 die, popping that piece up on the card base with a bit of foam adhesive.
Such fun, that big ol' frame! And easy too!
Lastly is Heather's new Mini Scrapbook Series: Journaling Circle. The circle label and the sentiment, "Today's bright moments are tomorrow's fond memories" are all from Heather's set. I paired them with the "Celebrate with style" sentiment and flourish image from Big & Bold Wishes, as well as one of my Color Couture October Download patterned papers. The nice thing about this card is that it could easily be used for a man. Kind of has almost a western feel to it, don't you think?
