I thought I'd pop in with all of my other release projects for this month. First up, Year of Flowers: Mums. I'm seriously loving purple and lavender this month.....and these mums are similar in color to some of the ones that we planted this year. Plus, it's such a hot color palette right now, have you noticed when you're out and about? Purples, plums and lavenders are all over in the stores -- especially in clothing. I know this because I happen to love my purples, plums and lavender eye shadows (they're good colors on me, but that's neither here nor there) which is why I notice all of the purple clothing that's in stores these days. Love it. It also happens to be Kansas State University colors.....my hubby's favorite sports team. So like I said......purple on the brain over here. :)
Anywho....moving on......
Here are the Copics I used to color these little ladies and their leaves.
I stamped a bit of Polka Dot Basics II in versamark ink on the card base. I love how soft and subtle it is behind those big, bold flowers. The sentiment is from Signature Series: Butterfly.....bloom and grow foreeeeeeeever. Are you singing "Edelweiss" yet? ;)
Next up, Heather Nichols' Warm Happiness Too on a little card for my sweetie.

This one features Take Three: Winter by Alli Miles and a sentiment from Signature Series: Dress Form. Plus, don't you think the flourishes from Embellishments work so well with the Take Three flourishes?!
And lastly, a card I made for my Dad's birthday using Larger Than Life by Lisa Johnson.
That pretty frame on the mat stack 1 layer is from the new Mat Stack 1 Collection.
I added another little gift card pocket inside Dad's card. Had to have a fun little holder for his favorite birthday gift -- the Bass Pro gift card! Hee.
