Hello there! I thought I'd add a new feature to the old blog-o every now and then called Favorite Things, in which I'll showcase a few items that are....well.....some of my.....favorite things. Catchy, no?
Anyway, first up today is a lotion that I was given for Christmas this year. It's Eucalyptus Spearmint aromatherapy body lotion from Bath & Body Works. Now I realize that "Eucalyptus Spearmint" doesn't exactly sound like it's going to smell really good, but trust me on this one. It smells *really* good. So good, in fact, that when I put some on my hands before bed, I try to lay strategically so that my hands are as close to my nose as possible so that I can keep smelling it as I drift off to sleep. Granted, this only works until my arms start to fall asleep from being folded in half for so long. But that is a testament to just how yummy this lotion smells. It's worth letting your arms fall asleep for.
And for the record, I got this Lavender Vanilla aromatherapy body lotion sometime last year and I do the same bedtime routine with this one too. Goodness, it smells good!
Chinchilly nail polish by Essie is my current favorite nail polish color. It's a really pretty, soft gray and I love that it goes with just about anything you might be wearing. Plus, because the color is so soft and neutral, it's pretty forgiving if you aren't that great at polishing and "staying inside the lines"!
OPI Rapidry Spray -- this stuff is great for helping your nail polish to dry quickly and it smells yummy to boot!
And something outside of the beauty category -- Martha Stewart Living Magazine. I've been subscribing to MSL since I was 18 or 19 years old. I LOVE it. I always get so much inspiration from each issue. The photography is outstanding. It's really just such a classy magazine filled with all sorts of "good things". I mean, just look at how gorgeous this photo is from the February 2011 issue......
Doesn't that just make you want to run and get crafty?
I hope you enjoy your Saturday! (And let me know if the Favorite Things feature is something you'd like to see more of!)
